I was also brushing up on my repeat pattern making skills. This is something I learned when I went to textile art school years agao and I have always wanted to design patterns that might end up on fabric or wrapping paper. Medieval Peas wrapping paper anyone?

IMAGE 1. I made this piece for the SVS learn monthly challenge. It had the prompt of dragonfly.
Overall I felt the sketch phase of this went more quickly than it has for other pieces. I learned to push the shadows more than I thought.
This is my third fabric sculpture piece in my Glitter Organs series. I am slowly working towards a proper heart shape. I also used this piece for a little painting inspiration.
